The public holidays paid out by Prologic are:

• New Year’s Day (January 1)
• Family Day (third Monday of February – Ontario only)*
• Good Friday
• Victoria Day (third Monday of May)
• St. Jean Baptiste Day (June 24 --- Quebec only) *
• Canada Day (July 1)
• Labour Day (first Monday of September)
• Thanksgiving Day (second Monday of October)
• Christmas Day (December 25)
• Boxing Day (December 26)

* Please note that Family Day (February) is a public holiday for employees working in Ontario; St. Jean Baptiste Day (June 24) is a public holiday for employees working in Quebec.

Please note: The following formula is used to calculate Public Holiday Pay in accordance with Labour Board Standards.

Total hours worked over the 4 weeks prior to the holiday, divided by 20, equals the amount of hours you will be paid for the Public Holiday.
